Founded by Whitley Bay-based entrepreneur Aoife Forbes, Forbes Finishings was born from a simple idea: transforming gift wrapping from a last-minute chore into a mindful, creative experience. After a successful career in PR and communications, Aoife swapped spreadsheets for ribbons and scissors, launching a professional gift-wrapping service that has quickly built a reputation across the North East for its luxury finishes and sustainable approach.
More Than Just Gift Wrapping
Aoife's workshops are about much more than making presents look beautiful.
Guests will learn professional techniques including how to create neat corners, use luxury finishing touches and wrap without Sellotape, creating elegant, eco-conscious results. Sustainability sits at the heart of Forbes Finishings, with creative ideas for reusing materials and reducing waste while still achieving a high-end finish.
